Alex is the Chief Sales Officer for Danish Wind Power Academy. DWPA was formed in 2004 with a single, very clear purpose – to help owners/operators and maintainers of renewable energy assets improve their operational performance and realize their strategic ambitions by helping them develop a deep understanding of their assets. Previously, Alex served as the Head of Business Development at Maersk Training. During his tenure, he was responsible for Maersk Training’s global wind strategy and for establishing Global Wind Organisation (GWO) training centers in emerging markets such as the APAC region, the Middle East, and North and South America, through partnerships or consultancy services. Notably, his efforts led to the establishment of new GWO training centers in Taiwan, Japan, Saudi Arabia, and the US (MA, NY, NJ, and DE). Alex brings 7 years of experience in the wind industry and over 20 years in business development. He holds a bachelor’s degree in international business from Copenhagen Business School and resides in Denmark with his wife and children.
