SP-Wind was established in 2018 with the vision of providing a high-quality training centre for the wind industry sector. We, as SP-Wind, recognised there was a substantial need to provide training in South Africa, more specifically the Eastern Cape. We are situated in Port Elizabeth which is also profoundly known as the windy city.
We are a team of hands-on instructors, inspectors and technicians who are diligently working at striving to ensure you receive the correct training & equipment. We work with businesses, wind turbine technicians and individuals creating a safer & more productive working environment.
We specialize in providing the best training to upskill and train wind turbine technicians and to provide them with the knowledge required to reduce risks and to create a safer working environment for themselves and others. SP-Wind is a GWO accredited training provider, and our trainers have many years of experience in the industry.
We have state of the art, modern training facilities with a fixed rail and cable fall arrest system. We do real life scenario training so we can prepare you for daily challenges on a wind farm. Through the above we also enable efficient and sustainable growth of the industry into the future.
